2020-09-29 04:45:28 +0000 UTCPart of the reason why this feels like near catches on to light so quickly is because the back half of this anime is 50 manga chapters condensed into 10 episodes. While the first 58 chapters was the other 27 episodes. So they really do jump point to point. Mikami is only taking it as far as light wants it to be taken. This is another thing they don’t go into too much detail about in this condensed version of events.
