I could be wrong about this but I don't think Denji is the one with a mysterious past or secret. I think it's Pochita. Pochita and Denji have merged into one being so when the Eternity Devil was talking about how far he's fallen I think he was talking about Pochita not Denji.

2022-11-24 03:04:20 +0000 UTCI'm Australian and where I grew up the legal age of sexual consent was 16. Which it was in most states except for a couple where it was 17. So seeing a 16 year old hook up with someone in their early twenties doesnt faze me. Once the age gap gets too wide I start to question it but I've heard that our brains don't finish developing until we're 25. It's always interesting seeing Americans react to these things. It just goes to show the culture you grow up in affects your sense of what is normal. I'm sure that there are some Australians who think 16 is too low for the age of consent but most people I know don't always like it but don't think it should be criminalised.

2022-11-22 21:50:47 +0000 UTCthat "kiss" was one of the hardest things to watch in anime I've seen for a while XD not sure what to think about Himeno & her trying to get with Denji now...also get the "likes Aki"-vibe, but how close she gets to so many people & how she's into drinking, smoking & who knows what, I think it's 3-way-split between "he's the key to saving Aki", "live fast, die young" & "I'm drunk & lonely"

Also himeno cares for hayakawa, not sure if it's romantic but she was willing to sacrifice denji before hayakawa used the sword.
