Respectfuly, the concept of honor is foreign to modern western culture, in part because we attribute enormous value to life, whereas other cultures dont. Theres many reasons for that but one of them is that in cultures that have existed for thousands of years, how one lives their life is more important than the preservation of it. Life is so easily lost in 99% of human history and 95% of the world that overvalueing is meaningless. You see it in collectivist societies where people have 10 children, the loss of one isn't as tragic as it would be to us here in North America. Samurai existed and prospered on that idea for hundreds of years and thats what the soul reapers mimic in this anime/manga. In the end we're all fated to die, putting emphasis on other concepts that are more permanent isn't dumb.

2022-12-25 20:28:33 +0000 UTCEpisode 10 I kind of vaguely remember this guy. I guess he can see spirit like Ichigo but he’s totally clueless and just make it worst. I don’t have much to say in this episode. It was fun and the guy was extra 😂 Well this was fun I can’t wait for the next one

In real situation I 100% agree but this is anime and Shonen so we have plot armor etc so they can pull this off but in principle. Yes, save his life. But this is anime so it makes for a dramatic plot. It was a good moment with his mom. And it was a great moment with his dad after the fight

(I had to look it up) Hmm Rukia still have some effective magic well it didn't do much but I think it did a bit of something 😅 For you question. I'll guess we'll have to wait until we learn more about shinigami to know. (Ok Ok it's just my sneaker way to say I don't remember 😅) But I think they can be killed as easily as humans. Well normal soul reaper. This is Shonen so we will meet more powerful characters.
