I was very hype for TR, but the betrayal aspects really turned me off to it. Then, I saw that the MC had the "crybaby" gene and it really made me not so interested. To date, I've not seen anything that makes me all too interested in the show, so I'm glad I never really picked it up despite my earlier interest. Might I suggest a 4-episode prequel called 'Burn The Witch' It's by Tite Kubo, same author of Bleach. The two are largely unrelated, but take place in the same universe (so there's no issue with spoilers or anything). Supposedly after Bleach is complete, he plans on that being his next series as well. The episodes I suggest were something he put out a few years ago to build hype for the series (prior to Bleach's return). They are, imo, very good!
