Kita (inarizaki's 1) have a different kind of confidence about him. normally in my opinion "confidence" is connected to one's "courage" and "boldness". more confident someone is more daring they are to do things they otherwise wouldnt due to lack of said confidence. more confident you are in yourself easier it is to look better than others and act like it. Kita does not act like that cause his version of confidence is connected to stability rather than courage. he knows his limits and considers himself as just an average joe especially compared to other strong individuals on his team. he has aran in his team who is considered one of the best 5 aces this year in japan high schools, and miya twins are prodigies on their own, atsumu is even invited into youth camp for all japan which is insane acolade. Compared to them Kita is average and he is aware of it. But his strength and confidence come exactly from knowing that. He cant do what miya twins can, he cant score like aran, but what he can do he knows he can do to his fullest and never makes mistakes. As opposed to miya twins that are objectively better at serving and setting and scoring but also make lot of mistakes.
