Sad to see something that’s been such an amazing series come to an end This is the same ending a the manga, those ending credits I’m pretty sure weren’t in the manga. The ending was controversial due to the decision Eren made, or more so his reasoning for doing things

2023-11-05 07:58:06 +0000 UTCOk I read further about the manga ending. It seems that the war was the extended version of the ending. I feel that that was unnecessary. It pushes a pessimistic view of humanity down our throat. I don’t like this version. If they just let it open ended I would have been fine with it. In the anime because the credit was rolling I feel like well whatever. The main story is done. Push whatever epilogue you want. Yes, it's a commentary on humanity. I choose not to believe in it, Sure there are a lot of horrible things in the world and conflict. But I believe we can find a way to bring the good around us. We will never be fully successful as they will always be bad people but it doesn’t mean it’s inevitable and we should just give up. And believe humanity is doomed to kill itself. 2023-11-05 06:52:56 +0000 UTCAfter Episode Ok I didn’t read the manga but I did look it up. It seems that they kept the ending of the manga. Like I said earlier, I like this ending. I think it’s a realistic ending with the best possible outcome. Anything more positive wounds have not been realistic. Ok in the credits if we see Mikasa old with a family well it end up not so bad after all. Paradise is not all dead. Ok I take it back to Modern time and they are still at war then destroy paradise. Kind of a pessimistic view

2023-11-05 06:52:07 +0000 UTCFinal Chapter Toward the Tree on That Hill, So that was Eren's plan all along. To make them heroes by sacrificing himself and making himself the ultimate evil. So Eren did save them all. Well Mikassa. Well I quite like the ending. (Before the credit scene) I don’t know why everyone else is so mad at the ending. They got rid of the titan power. All the people that turn into pure titan during the last fight with the “Slug/Slime” turn back into humans. There is some peace talk even if the Jagerist are still crackpot. 80% of humanity died. However to me I feel dissociated with the number. We know a lot of people died. I guess when a lot of people died the surviver think more about rebuilding than restarting a war. The Jagerist since the rumbling was killing the world outside they are still willing to fight. They didn’t see enough of the consequences of war.

Otherwise without royal blood he can’t. Mikasa so that what the titles of chapter 4 was about. Mikasa “dream” I don’t think it’s really Eren. I think it’s all Mikassa minds that made that up.

Because you keep coming back to those “logical” answers like life is meaningless why we exist if we are going to die anyway. And the smarter you are the harder it hits you since your greatest strength in the past Logic just keeps spiraling you back to depression. Wow Armin. Those insignificant moments are so precious. Wow Lexie I didn’t think about how Armin freed them. So it was both Zeke and Armin winning over the past titans.

That is not possible. 😂 And Annie still alive 😄 And Gabby, My memory suck so I don’t remember what happened to them but I think I recalled they just went away from the mission. The Marlies and the Eldian pointing guns at each other is the most stupid thing. Everyone is going to die. 🤦 Pieck is savage with the multiple titan in succession

2023-11-05 06:50:42 +0000 UTCChapter 3 Battles Between Heaven And Earth Yay the final final part. To tell the truth, the way they’ve done it with two “movie” formats got me out of it. It’s been too long since I’ve watched AOT and I can’t remember much and I’m so out of it 😱indeed all the past nine titan. It was hopeless before now. They have dozen if not hundred of nine titan to fight against. Ymir has a lot of trauma so I can understand her wanting to kill everyone. I can’t still get onboard with killing the majority of the population tho.

Even when I watched it again in your reaction, I still cried like a 7 year old kid 🥹😭💔 Because it’s a combination of saying goodbye to a great anime (masterpiece), great characters, and the emotions wrapped around the theme of this show can’t be described in one sentence!
