I went off on a bit of a tangent in my last comment. I’d been seeing a lot of negative commentary around Nobara’s “death” this past week even calling it bad writing. So it was a bit of a change watching this reaction to see someone who didn’t seem to think it was bad writing and actually thinks Nobara still being alive is a cop out.

2023-12-09 06:56:22 +0000 UTCI’ve been visiting the Anime News Network (ANN) website for years for news and reviews. Going off the reviews of JJK there as well as a lot of the discussion in the forums there’s a lot of negativity towards this season. Personally I think it’s been pretty good for the most part. One of the complaints from last week was that killing Nobara was a case of “fridging” and made the reviewer angry. When I first heard about fridging I had some sympathy over the issue although I thought it wasn’t always a clear cut problem. Now I just don’t care. Anytime a female character gets killed I hear cries of fridging and I’m over it. As far as I’m concerned a writer can kill as many bitches as they want in their story and I won’t criticise them for it. Actually the worst case of fridging I saw recently was in the last Mission Impossible movie. I seriously rolled my eyes at that one.

All the other anime has so many plot armor so the characters are all I don’t kill or only one on one fight, etc . No this is life and death situation. You take all the advantage you can and cheat as much as possible to survive otherwise you end up dead. Mahito said it. I bet you thought you were going to kill demons like a fairy tale here. It’s a war to impose our self proclaimed right ideas on each other. I think Nobara should stay dead. No pulse, not breathing, half the face missing. From now on I will suffer in your place Nanami –Itadori This show has great lines After episode I would be pretty disappointed with the show if they revive Nobara. It negates all the good points I made about the show earlier. Yuji's mental breakdown was so real. Kudo to the show for it. Mechamaru Miwa scene was so amazingly done. I had no idea who Nitta was, so I looked it up and it seemed that the guy that sealed Yuki and Nobara's injury was Arata Nitta. You may not be but I’m mad at the show if they bring Nobara back. Great episode Great reaction. Of this season JJK and Frieren are my favorite. Take Care 😋
