When thief Jonny Horton steals the Neogenic Recombinator, an accident with the unstable device transforms him into the monstrous Griffin! Desperate to cure his mutated condition, The Griffin bursts into Dr Connor's lab and kidnaps Flash Thompson. Believing Whitman to be the creator of the Recombinator, Griffin issues a chilling ultimatum-- find a cure, or Flash dies!
