I meant to ask, "How do you want to improve the typography?" I ask this question because earlier in this comments section, you said to someone else that you want to spend more time on it.

Confidente100

I just use the text tool and write. I cut and paste the text if I need to move it around.

Manic

Ah, thank you! I've always thought this worked well. How would you like to elaborate on the typography?

Confidente100

It's just a basic text function on Paint.Net. I create a layer for the text and then add a layer underneath where I use the outlined circle tool to create speech bubbles.

Manic

This is awesome! Like the others have said, I like the attention to detail. But how do you add the boxes and words, Manic? I've never figured out how you did it.

Confidente100

Beautiful! This is so exciting! (And this comment section is like the greatest party I've ever attended!)

I agree… It’s really nice to see all of your artistic choices being fully appreciated! However… Seeing where this is going I might suggest changing the title of this one from “stuck in the *middle* with you” to “stuck in the *three quarters transformed* with you” 😬

I think so too

Manic

Thanks!

BURST is an underused and greatly appreciated SFX. Fits the moment quite well. It appears you put some thought into what a halfway there SG would look like. I agree with SAS and Terry on the subtle changes in facial structure and expression. Let me also cheer the overall color palette, which is less saturated and more pastel-like. It fits what should be a romantic moment that spins into the fantastic. And it makes that last panel even more alluring.

Not just this comic but I love how consistent and highly detailed you put in your works , like sometimes I feel like I’m in the room with these Tfs 👏🏾

I know foot TFs are very popular within 'the community', so I occasionally like to play to the gallery 😉

Manic

Not much I can say that hasn’t already been said! I will say, and you could guess I’d go here, but the detail on the foot growth is fantastic! The strain on the laces. The element of the heels bursting out of the back! The strands of sock! You always deliver on every aspect of a transformation, and I know I speak about foot growths a lot on any post that has them, but this is one of my favorites!

My inspiration for Ericka is 90s British Glamour model Jo Guest (a Google search shall result in a ton of NSFW, so be cautious!). I don't always base characters on real people, but one of the joys of being an artist is that if there's a model you think would be great as such-and-such character, you can 'cast' them in your story! The picture references are great for adfing some variety in facial expressions, but trying to source a good photo for every different angle and panel gets a bit tricky.

Manic

Thank you! I do put a lot of effort into the small details, and indeed I think it makes all the difference. I don't really spend enough time on typography(I don't really have enough time after all the artwork!) I do recognise its importance however, and it's something that I've been forcing myself to spend more time on.

Manic

Wow, loving all the very detailed feedback here! Will write some replies later!

Manic

Wow, well done sir!

Love how this is playing out. These pages are some of the most detailed you've made recently, really getting in close and showing the small things, and then "pulling back" on the "camera" to show how all of those small details add up to advance the scene. I agree that the final panel turned out spectacularly, and the fact that you can still see vestiges of Ericka there demonstrates SAS_Art's spot-on comment regarding the hard work you've been putting into the characters' faces. Also love the vocal transition you show with Ericka between the top-right panel and the bottom-left. We can tell that the Savage Girl became that much closer to reality just in the shift in font and speech pattern. Fantastic work, can't wait to see what happens next!

Terry

Can I talk about the faces for a second? They're fantastic! Not only the expression, but the way they've found that sweet spot between Ericka and SG, and the subtle shifting as she edges closer and closer to becoming the latter fully. Panel three especially catches my eye. I know the focus on these tends to be on other aspects, but believe me that for this page the faces are what I'll be looking at for inspiration. Well done!
