I would go with a major enemy destroying the planet type of story that causes the transformation. Something like a Nuclear bomb being dropped over a city and they know they can't stop it alone.

P.s. always great to see new Urtha stuff. I always can’t help but wonder how Ambers final exams will go and what the exam pressure will do to her when she’s trapped in an exam room with nowhere to go!

I think I’ll go with johns idea about a transformation control exercise. Trying to get a better handle on their powers so they don’t have to worry about it happening unexpectedly (which hopefully they’ll never be able to master 😉) Let the two of them compare how it feels, but try not to completely lose themselves to the pleasure of the process...
