Classic Manic: Car TF
Added 2019-09-11 20:02:47 +0000 UTCLooking though my archives, I came across this gem of a sequence that had been left complete but unlettered. It appears to be my take on a (largely) off-camera transformation from issue 18 of SSH, where Jen is racing to some emergency only to be caught in a traffic jam. I can't quite place how old this is-- I have a feeling it's probably 2005-ish-- but it's one of the few examples of my early works that doesn't make me cringe too hard.
Not sure why I didn't letter this one! Maybe it's from so early on I hadn't even figured out how to digitally letter my stuff yet...

Jen and the She-Hulk had never been so well drawn and sensual - special mention to the last pic in which the green fury outmatches every girl of Baywatch ! ;) If you are interested, I own the original boards (digital version) with the first version of the text(s) ! I am an unwavering collector of your art as you may know... :)

2019-09-12 10:19:31 +0000 UTCM, if those color pencils are in box somewhere, take them out and get them bronzed. This feels lime a bridge between your Shadowlurker era and the early digital coloring.
