Happy New Year!

As we prepare to enter 2020 I've realised that next June will be the 20th anniversary of my 'Manic' career online! To honor this, I'd like to have a stab at re-doing some of my older works. Do you have any suggestions on old drawings you'd like to see updated? The older the better and provide links if you can!
As you can see from the pic I'm closing out the year working on Atalanta. I'm gonna finish that and also Mary's Curse in the early part of 2020. Plus, as ever, there will be more surprises to some, so stay tuned!

Well, There are several "classic" sequences that could enjoy an update... A couple of favourites of mine : 1) Jen chooses to change into her green counterpart. It's a 3 steps transformation with one of your best lines of text ever : "There's no time to strip... Only RIP !!!" 2) An unvoluntary transformation this time : Jen is walking even as her eyes become green. Again, it's a 3 steps sequence with the following comment : "She was just your average woman... But now, when she gets mad...She gets big, bad... And green !!!". It's definitely one your best works of the Yahoo era and I love Jennifer's design with her English hairstyle and leather short skirt. With context, this redux would be even more fantastic !

2020-01-05 20:26:59 +0000 UTCIf you really want to go back to the beginning, I would suggest two from 2000: One features Jen in a nightie trying to sneak out to Richard Rory's but changes into She-Hulk who prefers a night with Zapper. The other is of a teenager in the gym locker room who is sad because she caught her boyfriend kissing the head cheerleader which sets off an unwanted She-Hulkout that she tries to stop but can't.

As for what I’d like to see redone, I’d have to say one of your older Urtha comics, the one where Amber gets a little too excited while talking to an ex-boyfriend and transforms for the first (second?) time. The only difference would be that you would make her more muscular than you did originally. Great stuff as always, Manic! Z

Would it be out of line for me to suggest "Gamma Girl"? (I might be a bit biased with that one). Hopefully you'll at least dust off the old one to post as a flashback someday. Other suggestions would be the first "Fade to Gray" with Betty in the bunker, "Override" (one of your all time best), or one of the early Tawn ones--I think there was one where Brenda was wearing a red suit, started to change, forced it back, then finally gave in.

As for recreating older pieces, how about updating that 4 page Mojo pitting Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk against Betty Ross/gray She-Hulk? Perhaps flip it to have MODOK force the '82 animated Jen Walters/She-Hulk fight '82 Betty Ross/red She-Hulk.

Some older works come to mind as a suggestion would be I believe the first payset you did. I can't remember the name on it but it was an 82 stock transformation throwback. Similarly I could say maybe Betty vs Quasimodo.
