Oh by the way just to mention, there are actually a lot of historical poems used in this show that can’t be translated. So it can’t be helped that a lot is lost in translation. Chinese language have a history of over 5000 years, there are unending amounts of historical meanings and very poetic wordings that’s been written by famous poets from different dynasties. There’s a backstory and important lesson to be learnt from every poem, It actually does make the show and what Wen Ke Xing say a lot more interesting. You’ll realize he’s completely flirting with these poems, but as it is a historical series, the poems are conservative at the same time. Its a very interesting contradictory, and it really sets the tone of the show. It’s such a pity that it can’t be translated. Just to give you an idea, there is one poem or idiom in almost every 10 sentences of a dialogue
