The acting quality from YiZhan is really top notch. The subtleties and micro-expressions that lend to the storytelling and helping the audience have a glimpse into their innermost thoughts and intentions are just next level. This is my 3rd re-watch, and I am so glad to be doing this with Topher and all of you!

Wei Wuxian, I just wanted to give a fun clue about why or when you see "the real Wei Wuxian" (like you said in ep. 20 commentary). It may have smth to do with his excellent skill he mastered called masking and deflecting. I have never seen any character more adept at masking his feelings or deflecting them so well that even the audience (the viewers) cannot discern the difference. So just try and notice why and when he puts up his walls. In the past, he did it by mostly flirting, acting outrageously or joking; but now he seems to not have as much (mental) energy for that as he used to. So now, he does it in different ways. Like by pushing sm1 away, angering them, making them hate him... etc. I just found this really really intriguing and interesting.

Chenqing has a meaning as past/old/bygone relationships/feelings, which can be either romantic or platonic. But it can also mean "setting forth one's thoughts and explaining one's actions."
