Red Alert Update
Added 2024-08-20 08:01:06 +0000 UTCI'm fired up for this project in a way I haven't been for years! I think part of the reason I let it lie fallow for so long is that this part of the story is a protracted sequence where there will be no FMG or even cheesecake stuff (although, be assured-- there will be more of that later on). When my new working structure comes into play next month, I'm going to dedicate 1 day a week exclusively to Red Alert. It's a huge story, and the past 12 years of pages is probably only half of the whole tale!
This section is focused on the Hulk and the army's battle with Stormcry. The last page here is full of Easter eggs-- those jets are Skystrikers from GI Joe, and the pilots flight suits are the same as the one Betty wore in the Hulk episode "The Hulk Destroys Bruce Banner". The identity of those pilots will also be familiar to Marvel and GI Joe fans!
I'm excited to draw the next pages, which will feature an aerial dog fight and a lot more Hulk action. After that, we'll be getting back to see what became of Rick and She-Hulk... what MODOK has planned next... and Betty's search for a cure!
