The Triggers of Transformation: Origin
Added 2025-02-26 16:39:52 +0000 UTCStarting a new series featuring a 'What If' kind of character. Rachel Ross is imbued with the powers of Altawoman after a cataclysm engulfs the Alta-Dimension. Shortly before disappearing into a maelstrom of energy, nurse Hayley Thomas passes on her power to the nearest suitable host-- friend and colleague Rachel Ross. Soon Rachel discovers that she has the power to transform into an Altawoman when she becomes sexually stimulated-- an Altawoman who resembles their Queen Lauress, but who only has fragments of memory to connect her to that other realm.
I guess this is kind of inspired by when Hal Jordan went bad, destroyed the entire Green Lantern Corps and then a new guy took on the mantle as the last of the Green Lanterns. Also, Doctor Who in the noughties reboot being the last of the Time-Lords. As in both of those franchises, the Alta-Sisterhood may not be as dead as it seems!
The Triggers of Transformation will take us through many different TF scenes for this character, each exploring a different trigger for the metamorphosis. In this edition, the trigger is 'Origin', the first time we see a character transform.

Of course you have to pick any assortment of marvel side character to “hulk out.” Maybe even a random bystander at the Battle of New York gets Hulk blood on her and she finds her new powers to be very appealing

(Like if Muscle Woman’s sidekick were to obtain her powers by accident). While this Rachel is new to us, I love how she’s just a random bystander getting these extraordinary powers! Love this stuff!
