Added 2026-01-03 09:06:54 +0000 UTCGetting close now to the big 100! Finally I can reveal A-Bomb and The Harpy as Rick and Rita's gamma forms. Rick is more of a cross between A-Bomb and Abomination as that classic Hulk villain didn't appear in the cartoon, and I prefer the green colour scheme of the latter character.
I think having Bruce Banners friends mutated into horrible monsters is a dark path a family friendly 80's cartoon would not have gone down, but the point of this project was loosely 'what if the events of modern-day Hulk comics occurred in the old cartoon'. The comics have put poor old Rick through some horrible shit! In the last one I read, he'd been turned into some kind of monstrous teratoma hanging on the body of the Abomination (I think). The worst thing I've done to him is put him in that purple underwear!
