This was the first Kdrama I ever watched, and the one that dragged me down the k-hole. It was an incredibly obsessive drama, the weekly on air speculations were crazy. It was really fun to re-watch the first episode, I hope you will get around to watching more of it in the future!

2024-08-25 06:03:20 +0000 UTCI love Lee Jong Suk so much. I've watched all of his shows. This is a good series although it is not my favorite of his filmography. Either way it has a good concept, production value, actors, and chemistry between the leads. There are things I didn't like in the back 3rd of the drama but that's a conversation for another day. I have long had a theory that the reason Kang Chul (the comic book character) calls her "not pretty" in the beginning of the series is because he's written by her father and he quite literally cannot see/perceive/comprehend her in a romantic way because her father doesn't see that either. In that way, the romantic growth between them becomes more evidence that the world is beginning to move or evolve on its own, independent of her father's writing as you mentioned in this reaction.
