I saw a clip of Ultimate Note on Tiktok and loved the bromance, so I gave it a watch and was displeased with the ending, so I searched for more. I highly recommend that you watch Ultimate Note, it's so good and such a good adaptation.

Then, I began to follow the story with "The Lost Tomb 2" starring Huo Minghao (the Dashing Youth) and Cheng Yi (Mysterious Lotus Casebook) released in 2019, "Tomb of the Sea" starring Leo Wu (Love Like the Galaxy) and Qin Hao released in 2018, "The Mystic Nine" starring William Chan and Zhang Yi Xing released in 2016, "Reunion: Sound of the Providence 1 & 2" starring Zhu Yilong (Guardian) and Huang Junjie (The Spirealm) released in 2020. In fact, I haven't watched "Ultimate Note".

I started Ultimate Note, and was left wanting more, so I searched for a season 2, only to find that there was a whole three prequels and two more sequels to the series, plus a whole 8 volumes of the main storyline lol. I watched the series and LOVED it. I'm reading the novels now to fill in gaps. I do think that you would enjoy the earlier series of these novels, but this is a great introduction! And that's not mentioning the various movies being released for the extras and such. I'm so happy you decided to watch this!

The story is compact, we have solid actors in the main roles and there's so many bottles of "bromance" for the thirst. There's a huge body of works in this world and a lot of actors in other series are part of it. For instance Professor Glasses in Guardian? He plays Wu Xie in a later installment Reunion: Sound of the Providence. Anywaysenjoy!

Topher, did you know that this lost tomb series is based on a very famous novel series called Dao Mu Bi Ji. Also, a different production company adapted each novel, so each series have different actors (for the same characters). Wu Xie and Xiao Ge (aka Zhang Qiling) are a very popular ship within the fandom and they're often caller as "Pingxie"
