It was so fun to see your thoughts on this string of episodes! Qu Lanxin’s story is probably my fav in the show. though that’s probably also because I love liu meitong (the actress). After the episodes aired she actually posted a heartfelt dedication abt how much she loved being a part of this and how close the character was to her heart. When she was in high school she was also very gender nonconforming and known for it. She owns it completely now too, many of her projects actually feature her playing traditionally male or otherwise queer roles it’s rlly cool to see her versatility that way!
