An absolutely fabulous reaction to an amazing episode! Love the Tarantino inspired tone (It's definitely a combo of Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs.) I'm not a huge Tarantino fan, but I appreciate the homage here and I think Rich did a great job directing - would have been tough to keep all those crisscrossing storylines clear. I agree completely with you that what Mary is doing is dangerous. I also think she thinks she's doing what's best, but she's lying to them and putting them all in danger. She also got Wally killed because she pulled him into it so that the boys wouldn't question her. 😞 I also love Crowley. He's definitely been supremely evil in the past. Though it was more Meg and Lucifer that got Jo and Ellen killed - Crowley was actually the one who gave them them back The Colt to kill Lucifer. (More about The Colt in a minute. 😊) But he was very evil at other times, especially in S8. But he also sort of manipulated Dean into taking on the Mark (though it was obviously still on Dean too) and he tends to kill humans without much care. He's definitely still a demon, and he's still not what I would call "good". However, even when he was evil I loved him, cause I think he's one of my favourite villains. But now I love him even more, because yes, things definitely changed after all the human blood he consumed. And he definitely has a soft spot for the boys (yeah, especially Dean). I loved what he said to Ramiel in this episode, and how he seemed to truly respect the way the Winchesters and Cas always seem to save the day in the end. Love him for sure. Okay, so The Colt. I'm gonna try and do my best to remember the exact timeline. Here goes: John introduced The Colt at the end of S1. At the end of S2, Dean did use it to kill Azazel. Then in S3, Bella stole it, claiming to give it to Lilith. But in S5 we find out she didn't give it to Lilith, she gave it to Crowley, who then held on to it until he met the boys for the first time in S5. At which point, he gives it to them with the hope that it will kill Lucifer. (Which, of course, it doesn't.) After Dean dropped it in 5x10 (because Lucifer chucked him 50 feet through the air) we don't see The Colt again until this episode when we learn Crowley ended up with it again ("Amazing what some people leave lying around." he told Ramiel) and he gives it to the Prince of Hell as a "coronation present". So then for the last six years that's where it's been. Phew! I think that's all right. 😮‍💨😁 Anyway, this was awesome! So glad you enjoyed it. ❤️

Another great episode directed by our Trickster himself Richard Speight Jr. I love this episode. It was written to be Tarantino style and Rich directed it beautifully, he loves distinctive music as well (he directed Just my Imagination and that had some quirky tracks in too) Also fun fact - the reason Dean wasn't out front fighting with Sam when Wally died was because Jensen got called to home as Danneel had gone into labour with the twins. (he has a whole story about that as he didn't have his passport - it was still in Texas! Maybe it'll be a convention story request)
