You have seen some of Gus backstory now. Before he was the confident menace today. This episode is the only one that alludes to Gus being homosexual. I had purchased the entire seasons of the dvd's and there are excellent behind the scenes features after each episode. There was a deleted scene in the episode where Gus invites Walt to his home. Then Gus reveals he is attracted to Walt! How different the series would have been if they went ahead with that scene. In Chile, there were numerous abuses during the reign of the tyrant Pinochet, and It is inferred that Gus, or his father, was a high up member of that government. After Pinochet was overthrown, many of Pinochet's allies fled to other countries.

2024-08-18 01:15:50 +0000 UTCGood reaction. Walt was a "dumbass" in the previous episode being drunk on wine and putting down Gale, thereby enticing Hank to continue investigating. I don't know that Gus actually sees anything in Jesse, but he instead said that as manipulation.
