2024-09-11 12:09:24 +0000 UTCNo show does tension/panic scenes better than BB. The sound design at the end... that screeching noise... the whole scene is pure, concentrated unnerving anxiety. The dynamic is so remarkable of all the characters clashing at once and Skyler- going from playing peacekeeper for Walt to Marie on the phone. She's like a punching bag getting hit with all of it at once. Walt's laugh makes total sense with the situation he's in. High school chemistry teacher gets cancer, cooks meth then his wife uses the money he made from it and gives it to the man she had an affair with? Many times throughout the show the characters are boxed in in shots by either a door frame or window frame etc. divided by beams or trapped in picture frames. The symbolism in that final shot of Walt laying in the dirt underground- boxed in by the door to the crawl space that he built himself, as if it's saying he’s dug his own grave and he's a dead man walking.

It's like who's the the best bad guy at this point . Walt need back up He got no security guards all that money. he has Walt hire security . It's Walt vs the world at this point .

If he not on Walt side . If Walt has to go against Gus Jessie will be a enemy to Walt . then he know he has to be delt with .

But when Jessie was on drugs Walt kept the money from him So he could get better . He got Jessie from the drug house when Jessie was spiraling out of control . Then Jessie girlfriend black mailed Walt . Walt did let her die so ill move on lol . But Walt has been bad to Jessie , but good to him as well . they both need each other . When Gus didn't want anything to do with Jessie . Walt stood up and made him bring Jessie back . Yes Walt doesn't have cancer anymore . But he can't stop working for Gus either. Gus probably wouldn't let him . Now Gus values Jessie. Gus wants to break up Walt and Jessie.
