A Note on Requests

*Warning: Lots of words*

   I will often take requests and try to fit them into my schedule at some point. At the very least, I will consider whether something is doable or not. Sometimes I literally write these things down on post-it notes. I often ask for ideas for videos and try to knock out at least 1 or 2 in every filming session. It obviously takes some time to edit things up, even when I have managed to fit it into filming. And that's where I keep running into the same problems... so I just want to clear a few things up.

   Inactive subscribers. Sometimes, I will get a brand new subscriber, they request something, and then cancel their subscription. Of course their request is likely to be forgotten in favor of active subscribers. Showing up a few months later and expecting something is just odd, because there are people who stick around and maybe most importantly...

   I don't take commissions, and I don't claim to. If you've ever commissioned me in the past, you got what you paid for. None of these tiers offer commissions or personalized content. As much as I'd like to, I don't have time. I get more requests than I can do.

   I have votes AND general polls. I hold votes on the Star Patron tier. These are polls for specifics or what direction to take on a project in the immediate future, and I don't go against the results. I also take general polls to find out where the majority of subscriber's feelings are at.

   I often post specifically asking for ideas in comments.  I love hearing from you guys and I don't want to discourage anyone from feeling like they can send me messages, because that's not what I'm saying. But for requests, comments on those "question" posts are probably the best way to go about it. It gives me a list to quickly scroll back to, that I can easily reference, where I'm not digging through private messages or trying to remember which post a comment was on. 

   Finally, if there is something you are waiting patiently on, wondering if I'm ever going to get around to it, feel free to ask about it.
