On Discord...

Hey folks,

I want to briefly discuss Discord benefits.

Benefits have been Discord-only for several months now. It's gone extremely well for the most part, but I still get some comments and messages asking for direct links.

So instead of rambling on, let me address this with a list of my thoughts:

After a couple months, I'd have already spent more time sending links *to a single person* than it would take for them to create a Discord account. It directly takes time away from making content.
Discord is free and can be used as an app or web app and is compatible with old devices.
You don't have to link your personal account if you're worried about privacy. Discord allows for multiple accounts.
Discord offers a place to chat, share ideas, make requests and give feedback in real time, and makes everything easier.
"I don't/can't use Discord" I've received this comment several times with no clarification. I'm glad to help where I can, and this isn't it.

For anyone who is determined not to use Discord, I do hope to have a shop open sometime in 2025. Whether that is on Patreon or elsewhere, I will announce in the coming months.

I am also considering adding a $30 tier in which "being sent links" is a benefit.
