June Update

Hello, everyone! Here is our monthly update on Bloodcrave’s development.

Let’s start with the important stuff!

• The new release will be published next weekend. It’s taking us a little longer this time around because we are also busy preparing a new demo for the Steam Fest. This is an important part of our marketing campaign and is the key to securing funding for continued development, so we’re doing our best to deliver the best possible experience. We’ve been working hard toward that goal, and we hope you’ll check it out!
  

• While we’ve continued to work on updated writing, art, and animations, we’ve focused a lot more on coding new features than scripting the latest scenes. Those are in progress, however, so do not fret!
  

Among other things, the next update will add the following features:

• Chatting in the day planner. You will be able to exchange texts with other characters each morning, which might unlock new events!

• Chat memory. You will now be able to view past chats.

• Improved Texting and Day Planner UI. We’ve been working a lot on updating this UI to be more polished. Hopefully it’ll be a lot more intuitive!

• Better transitions between days. It’ll now be much easier to differentiate between days. The transitions now also display the time to make it easier to follow the timeframe of events.

• Improved sound and audio balance. Background moans now fade out when characters are speaking. In addition, all voice lines have better audio balance, and some lines have been rerecorded to sound better.

• A score of other, smaller improvements.
  

Here’s the new scenes you can expect next week:

• First date with April (Animated)

• First kiss with April

• Rebecca mating press. The plot hasn’t yet reached this scene, but it will be available through the Extras menu.

• Amy x Virgil - Debriefing

• First date with Oliver

• First kiss with Oliver
  

And then we have some improvements to the following scenes:

• Amy x Virgil. The first scene in the game is receiving some additional animations.

• Nova x Rylen x Kiana. This scene will now feature animations and include Rylen’s VO.

• Chloe x Alex Cunnilingus. This scene will now include Chloe’s VO.
