Female Alex - Kickstarter Stretch goal
Added 2024-05-12 23:55:12 +0000 UTCHere is a concept of the fem Alex. Please don't get too attached because it'll unlock in the highest stretch goal, so she will likely never appear in the game :D.
This stretch goal unlocks an option to pick a male or female version of the protagonist. As a feature like this one requires a lot of additional work, we would have to hire an additional artist and writer to implement it. Therefore, it will only be implemented if the upcoming Kickstarter is highly successful.
Nonetheless, let us know what you think. We'll adjust the design based on your feedback.

Yes, most of the dialogs wouldn't need a rewrite. From the beginning of development, we considered adding a female protagonist, so we ensured that dialog and the protagonist's name would work with both MCs. However, it would still be a lot of work, and our team is already working at its maximum capacity, so it won't be possible without expanding the team.

2024-05-13 08:36:02 +0000 UTCLooks fine. Not sure the ratio of player or what not, but having another MC option with variants on scenes/outcomes/whatever would at least add replay value for some. Myself included. Might draw more people in who might only play one or the other protagonist. I'd hope that the rewriting of normal dialogue and conversation wouldn't need to be redone for this change to go through, and that might be a very helpful thing that wouldn't need redoing for an addition like this.
