In case you don't know, the name of the day spa that Millie takes Sallie Mae to in the first short, Bathory Spa, is a reference to Elizabeth Báthory, a Hungarian Countess who purportedly tortured and murdered hundreds of young women in the 16th and 17th centuries. Stories about her became national folklore (much like Dracula), such as the tale that she bathed in the blood of virgins to retain her youth, but were based on rumors and only recorded as supposedly factual over a century after her death. But since she supposed bathed in the blood of virgin girls, hence the name of the spa (even though it's only using "SPECIAL mud"! Now that you're fully caught up on the main episodes and the shorts, are we gonna get a react to the Stolas "Look My Way" music video? I've *really* been looking forward to seeing Nivi's reaction to her favorite sad owl boy's lament!
