Saturday Poll
Added 2019-10-04 22:05:36 +0000 UTCOkay, the Friday joke was fun, but this is for real. A mix of things I've been recommended frequently, things I want to watch, and things that have juuuuust been beaten out in previous polls.
Besides a few seasonals I won't be watching, there's nothing on Saturdays now that Kimetsu is finished, so we have a slot. Have fun :)

Well dam, Tatami Galaxy is so good, but you have not seen Spice & Wolf! Spice & Wolf is a must, and glad to see it is currently winning.

2019-10-06 21:36:16 +0000 UTCUchouten is too deeply allegoric of japanese medieval class stratification and power play to not make most feel uneasy, especially for us westerners who have no knowledge of Japanese mithology, but that is what it makes it so interesting. We do have our own old storyes of tricksters peasants and bully nobles though, and it's amazing how much similarities there are, but looking at them with modern perspective and morals completely distort the point of them.

I hope Natsume gets some more votes, I've never seen it and I'm curious. Spice and Wolf is a classic, but I never felt the need to rewatch it somehow.

No point even talking about Uchouten, that one has no chance ever winning any poll, though that one could possibly be the most interesting to watch.
