Oh interesting! If people were expecting a one to one adaptation I can also understand that disappointment yeah. We went into this show with zero expectations so maybe that's why we're just happily along for the ride haha!

2023-12-10 14:49:33 +0000 UTCI’m so happy your both enjoying the show!!! I’ve seen many people unhappy with the anime by episode 2 because they expected the adaptation to be unchanged. I personally really prefer a fresh story over a copy and paste adaptation, but I guess I somewhat understand why people are disappointed. On the other hand I wish some of those people would give the show more of a fair shot. Bryan the creator of the comics has always injected his life experience into the story and he’s grown a lot since he first wrote Scott Pilgrim. I think it’s really awesome we get to see how he decided to explore these characters with a fresh lense. Thanks for the wonderful reaction!
