Glad to know you are doing the Japanese dub with subs. I don't know if it is included in whatever media you are watching the show on, but there is a short epilogue to the first season that was never dubbed, but was apart of the original episode broadcast.

Also the show doesn't really make it clear but if you go back to the beginning with the world map you can see that Brittania is where the US would normally be. Code Geass actually takes place in an alternate reality where the American Revolution never happened and instead the Nobility of the British Empire fled England to the Colonies where they formed the Brittanian Empire. Meaning that the world's most powerful Military Superpower ended up Being a Dictatorship instead of a Democracy.
