2024-05-27 19:28:57 +0000 UTCI think the purpose of the opening scene of this episode was more to inform us on Lelouch's motivations. Every interaction we have seen with the Emperor has been him either making a public statement or acting in some public manner. So, I'm not sure we can accurately ascertain what his true thoughts or motivations are. What we do know is the very good reasons for why Lelouch is the way that he is though, because of his own personal interactions with the Emperor. (edit): I think that short scene we had in a previous episode where the Emperor said something about "speaking with Clovis" was in private, but I don't think we have enough context to understand what any of that was supposed to mean...

2024-05-27 19:11:47 +0000 UTCI'm here, you know I'm loving the reactions! I'm glad that even tho Nivi has seen the show, it's still kind of fresh and unfamiliar! I will clarify, tho you seem to have got it, it is Nuh-Nah-Lee, but you could also do Nuh-Nuh-Lee, depends how much you stress the second syllable. I love Lelouch's philosophy being essentially based around his sister; she is "weak" and he hates Britannia's "Strong eat the weak" philosophy. Also, we heard the name "Ashford" a few times this episode, as a noble family backing Lelouch's branch of the royal fam, but also as Milly's family fallen from grace; they run the school and keep Lulu and Nunu hidden! It's a neat bit of worldbuilding.
