That's a good description for them. There's so much variety though that I can see demons and vampires fitting into the mimic category depending on their mythos or the individual. Like, vampires from Twilight, Castlevania, Call of the Night, and the BatCat channel are superpowered people that need to drink blood. For the most part, they aren't monsters. But then you have one from Nosferatu, 30 Days of Night, or Salem's Lot. People dealing with a curse? Super predators ready to eat a person by any means necessary? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We weren't sure how to read them at first and initially wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, which is exactly how they trick people! Also we have talked about how many of the shows we pick happen to have vampires! It's awesome!

2024-06-16 22:09:16 +0000 UTCIt's interesting seeing these demons actually being irredeemable but charismatic monsters. They invoke this feeling of danger and tension that reminds me of old folk tales. Although, I'm not sure how much danger our protagonists will be in with Frieren ready to Kamehameha them from the get go! Also, isn't it strange how so many shows Nivi and Cashew watch have vampires or vampire-adjacent characters? Hmm... 🤔
