(Nivi has seen season 1 before so more of a refresher for her) Man this first episode just sets the tone immediately! It was especially funny watching Cashew react to those big momentsπ€£ Such an awesome cast of characters and they do a fantastic job of sucking the audience into their world. We're super excited to keep going! Hope you all enjoy!! β€οΈ

So, Cashew was right in thinking he heard a bit of an Australian accent coming from Butcher, the actor that plays him Karl Urban is a kiwi, New Zealander. But he's playing an British characters, so it does tend to slip out.

2024-07-06 15:34:34 +0000 UTCThe juxtaposition at the beginning between Nivi praising the special effects and Cashew short-circuiting into vigilantism was great! Something this show does well is the fridge horror: those terrible things you pick up on when you start thinking about 'em. Like, the TV segment with Translucent talking about his powers started with the host saying Translucent stopped a home invasion involving a single mother and two kids. But what was he there? Being a huge creep!
