As an additional note, I'm not sure it's accurate to say they're "anime original" scenes. Before it was a Manhwa, Solo Leveling was a web novel. I've read the Manhwa but not the novel myself, but I've seen novel readers say that the scenes were there in the novel. It's likely that the anime is adapting the novel with the aesthetics of the Manhwa. Win/Win in my book.

2024-10-08 13:58:15 +0000 UTCThe S-Rank Hunters Cha Hae-In (the Blonde Hunter), Baek Yoonho, and Choi Jong-In were not featured nor introduced at this portion of the Manhwa ('comics' in Korean) the Anime adapted so they were given Anime original scenes in several episodes throughout this season. Many of them will of course return in Season 2 and will finally meet Sung Jinwoo in a upcoming story arc.
