When Patlabor is goofy it's hilarious, when it's serious it's so fucking good. I just wanted to point out how brilliant the pairing of Miss Clancy and Ohta-san is for disturbing the enemy ranks, the incompetent loose cannon and the hyper-competent loose cannon are fine guerrilla fighters giving the correct operational objectives.
