Comments

The episode itself was cool and your comentary/breakdown of it was amazing but, you just shot yourself on the foot, the Das Finale are basically season 2 and every episode has 2 years of wait in between, and since das finale is one tournament expect these cliffhangers from all episodes after this as well.

Genuinely interesting

I love how they got a Mark IV. It's advance enough of a WW1 tank to be usable against WW2 tanks, and also suit the Shark team. Being naval students and driving a tank from a time when they were manufactured by the British Navy, and from when they were known as "Landships" and not "Tanks" yet... Hell, the fact that there are broadside guns on the sides rather than turrets like later tanks is even matching design philosophy of the British Navy of the time, as even their dreadnought class battleships still had broadside armaments - and because the tech for small scale 360' rotating turrets on vehicles just hadn't been necessary before. because the Navy had their tactics entrenched in the centuries of broadside naval warfare, as in the tall ships of old. It took the entirety of the First World War to ween the old British Navy out of Massed broadsides and develop bigger, better, higher tech and more accurate turreted main batteries for Battleships... and then the smaller variants for land vehicles. The term "Tank" itself actually comes from an unknown British soldier or early tank developer/designer/engineer who commented that they looked like the riveted and welded water and fuel storage tanks of the time. It was also a good and easy classified project name, banal enough to throw off the enemy espionage agents of WW1, so good in fact that the first tanks in history, the Mark I's that rolled out onto the field were unopposed and smashed straight through the enemy lines, through the barbed wire and over trenches. It slowly became more popular and by the end of WW1 the term "Landship" was dropped altogether.

BC=Vichy. Freedom=Free French, merged into one school

couldnt have written this better

May or may not have missed this, but BC Freedom is the French team. Marie is just literally Marie Antoinette, indicated by the fact that she's eating cake the whole time. Also Shark Team Best Team.
