Princess Tutu Episode 26 Early Access

Comments

One of my favourite series and one of the best OST's ever. A lot of people are put off by the dialogue heavy, exposition dumps style of delivery of the first 6 episodes - episode 6's all dialogue in a single room really put off a LOT of people... but it had really great plot points and a great action/drama after this point, imo... It would be interesting to see Teeaboo's discussion with it as it's pretty complex, practical way of tackling a reverse-isekai story.

Has Teeaboo seen Re:Creators? A lot of this episode reminds me of that show

Good thing I listen to a lot of podcasts anyway.

For many years Princess TuTu has been one of my favorite animes and stories in general. For the couple of years since I started watching reactions, I dreamed for someone to react to it and do it justice. You just did that, so I wanted to thank you for it. Just like you said, this anime does not get enough love. It is a shame the video of the last episode is lost forever, but your “voice” reaction and in-depth discussion did not disappoint. I love Princess TuTu and I am glad you loved it too. This anime has one of the best endings I had ever seen. On another note, I would like to recommend you Pretear (Shin Shirayuki-Himo Densetsu Pretear). It is another work of Junichi Sato. It is really good and it is only 13 episodes. And I would like to recommend another one of my favorites, Nodame Cantabile. Thank you so much! I truly enjoy your reactions.

During the discussion you mentioned that you were not sure as to why Fakir was not able to write about anyone else besides Ahiru. I had always believed the reason was because he could only affect and/or influence the outside element, in this case Ahiru. I believe that until this point, Fakir’s power was not strong enough to influence Drosselmeyer’s story. When Drosselmeyer no longer had control of the story that was when Fakir was finally able to write about every one else. I think it also had something to do with the want and desire to write about someone Fakir cared about, wanted to protect, trusted, shared his ideals, and was fighting on the same side of the battlefield. Also I wanted to mention, because I was not sure if you noticed, at the end all the magic elements disappear or left the story. Mythos and Rue I’m assuming went back to the story, all the animal-humans turn either into animals or humans, and even Uzura left the story with Drosselmeyer to who knows where.

Oh dang... any chance you'll be able to fix the video or is it just gone?
