I agree. Works like Planetarian, that make you think and feel so much, or are visual spectacles because all of the budget can go into the less runtime... Produced in a shortened mini series OVA, or "one off" stand alone OVA format. I think these are just so incredibly special and go largely undetected by most of the western fans. Some of the best artistic talent and storytelling goes into them, I glad at least a few other fans out there appreciate them. Teeaboo included.

2021-01-23 09:42:18 +0000 UTCI think as an overall work, OVAdrive is my favorite project of yours, there is so much great anime that has kind of fallen to the wayside, there's nothing wrong with that, just the nature of the industry, but it's great to take a look back at some of the lesser known works that aren't hailed like the Cowboy Bebops, etc.
