I agree with everything yall said. It had some parts that I liked as a Matrix fan but it wasn't needed. The crazy fighting choreography in the originals made the action so memorable and this movie had none of that. Like you said this movie needed a menacing villain and Morpheus-like character with authority. Still I didn't hate it, and I'm glad Neo and Trinity got a happy ending.
