city photo study but it looks decent this time

FINALLY did a photo study of a city that i dont hate!! i think it actually turned out alright for once agh cities are so HARD

here's the photo:

i had planned to save my step by step process but i FORGOT oops. i'll try to remember next time!!!

one cool trick i learned with this one tho is to put a grid overlay over the photo you're studying, then put that same grid over your doc while drawing, and it helps to match up proportions and sizes. helps a lil w accuracy

i also broke down the buildings by foreground, midground, and background which made it easier to not get overwhelmed by all the overlapping. then i focused on rendering one building at a time from closest to farthest

maybe that's helpful??!?!? i dont know. process images/videos probably would have been a lot better lol
