Catra is a guardian spirit who is deeply tied to the forest and has learnt from experience that humans cannot be trusted.
Adora is a princess who is full of new ideas to save their kingdom. Her father believes she is bewitched - just like her mother - so the crown will pass to her younger twin brother instead. Adora is arranged to be married to a princess of the coastal city and unite their kingdom to share what little resources they have left.
When Adora was travelling to meet her fiancee for the first time, her carriage was attacked. Adora escapes in the confusion and finds herself in a place no one has been in almost twenty years.
Within the cursed forest the Catra wanted nothing more than to scare this human away before they had a chance to destroy everything.
What do you think we should call this AU?
