So...
I guess I'm back from my little Christmas hiatus. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
And I feel like I might put DAZ stuff on the backburner for a bit (Sorry to anyone wanting to see more Finn he will return!) And maybe I might come back to that 32-bit crusty old sock called SFM for a while.
But ah! I've been back the whole time working In secret, rethinking my entire approach to lighting! You see usually when I light a scene I usually use a good old fashioned Three-Point light setup and that's It (except for background lights) and while that works mostly, It isn't very realistic or pretty looking turns-out.
A rough example:
Ehhhhh, I've seen better. It does the job with only 3 lights but It doesn't look like how real sun-light behaves does It? But here's where the new system "cums' in!
(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ 27 glorious lights all creating a significantly more natural looking piece including: ambient light, fake subsurface scattering and even Cassie's white bikini is reflecting sun-light onto her arms and thighs! All thanks to well over a dozen lights shining everywhere at differents brightnesses and colours!
Although this example Isn't perfect It's still a step in the right direction and now I feel more inspired and motivated than ever, so stay tuned for whatever's next!
