Maya animation update 3

This is a quick update on the Maya animation.

Instead of blocking everything out first and then refine it afterward, I think I'll try to block out and then refine parts of the animation instead.

This method seems to work well to troubleshoot physics errors caused by too aggressive or tight movements (like hands that take a direct path through the body mesh to get on the other side). It seems to also make the physics baking (pre-calculated movement of mesh based on physics) previews faster / more effective. Physics based mesh gets really slow to calculate if it gets super squeezed, stuck or crumpled. Plus, if the mesh gets stuck as crumbled, it makes the rest of the baked physics useless when refining the animation.

Since I got the first half of the animation blocked out, I've been working on refining the first half of the animation. ^^
