Naruto: Copy System#701+702: You Cut Quite a Figure Running for Your Life, The Death of Doflamingo

Shin and Nami were currently deep in conversation, but Fujitora, standing right beside them, looked less than pleased. He was being completely ignored.

Fujitora knew, however, that Shin had every right to ignore him. The man's power was on another level. Even though his own strength had grown considerably since their last encounter, he was still no match for the man before him.

Wielding his cane sword, Fujitora decided to strike first. "<Gravity Blade!>"

With a sharp clang, Fujitora’s attack was stopped dead. Shin now held a greatsword of pure golden light—the Ama no Murakumo Sword, formed from his Glint-Glint Fruit.

"Fujitora, you still haven't fully mastered your Gravity-Gravity Fruit," Shin said calmly.

He wasn't mocking Fujitora—it was simply a fact. The Admiral had yet to develop his Devil Fruit to the point of awakening.

He wondered what an awakened Gravity-Gravity Fruit would even look like. Would it multiply the force of gravity, or create a gravity field?

Shin wasn't sure, but he probably wouldn't get to see it. He had spared Fujitora once before, but he wouldn’t make the same mistake twice.

Regardless of Fujitora’s principles, sparing him once had been a gift. This time, Shin had no intention of letting an enemy walk away.

“<Almighty Push!>”

An invisible wave of repulsive force slammed into Fujitora, sending his body flying. Doflamingo, standing nearby, was also caught in the blast and thrown back.

Doflamingo’s expression shifted, and he rushed to check on Fujitora. Seeing the Admiral’s state, his face paled even further. A trickle of blood ran from Fujitora’s mouth, his clothes were in disarray, and his injuries were clearly severe.

Doflamingo knew Fujitora was no match for Shin Uzumaki, but he hadn't expected this. The fight had just started, and with a single move, Fujitora was already on the losing end. The gap between them was just too vast.

“Even after all this time, your strength is still a disappointment, Fujitora,” Shin said coolly.

"I'll give you one chance. Leave now, and you can still walk away. Otherwise, don't blame me for killing you both."

Shin looked down at the fallen Admiral. Fujitora met his gaze, showing no sign of backing down.

“SHIN UZUMAKI, I WILL NOT YIELD,” Fujitora said with solemn conviction.

No matter what, Fujitora would not back down. Doflamingo deserved to die, but as long as he was a prisoner under Fujitora's watch, he would protect him. It was a matter of principle. And against an opponent like Shin, backing down was not an option.

"JUSTICE WILL NEVER BOW ITS HEAD."

Veins bulged on Fujitora’s forehead. Streaks of fire began to tear across the sky—a meteor shower.

With his Gravity-Gravity Fruit, Fujitora could pull meteors from space, a technique similar to Shin's Tengai Shinsei.

But there was a key difference: the meteors Fujitora summoned were pathetically small.

“Oh? You don’t care about the people of this country?” Shin asked with a faint smile.

"If I'm using this move, it's because I can ensure no innocent civilians are harmed."

Fujitora swung his blade, and the meteors that were about to rain down on the country suddenly changed course, all hurtling towards Shin.

“Impressive. Too bad it won’t even touch me.”

Shin looked up as the meteor shower descended. But as the flaming rocks drew near, before they could even make contact, they all shattered into dust.

An invisible field of repulsive force surrounded Shin. Any external force that came near was instantly deflected.

It was like a form of Vector Manipulation, though the underlying power was different, the result was the same.

"An attack like this is meaningless against me. If you can't break through the repulsive field around me, you'll never even be able to touch me."

Fujitora showed little reaction to Shin's words. Having fought him before, he was already aware of some of his abilities. He knew how powerful Shin was. But Doflamingo, on the other hand, was starting to feel a sense of despair.

It wasn't that he didn't understand Shin's power—it was that the stronger Shin appeared, the higher the odds of his own death became.

His face suddenly turned grim. Doflamingo instantly manipulated the surrounding strings, lashing out at Shin.

Immediately after the attack, Doflamingo decisively used his Sky's Path, attaching strings to the clouds above.

He began to move at high speed. As for how he could attach strings to clouds—perhaps the clouds in the world of One Piece were different.

At this moment, Doflamingo was running for his life.

————————————

"Doflamingo, you cut quite a figure running for your life like that," Shin called out, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Could Shin really allow Doflamingo to escape? A blade of light shot towards Doflamingo, severing the almost invisible strings.

The fleeing Doflamingo plummeted from the sky. In an instant, Shin appeared in front of him.

His speed was so immense that even Fujitora, who had been watching his every move, couldn't react in time.

It was beyond what his Observation Haki could track, so Fujitora couldn't stop Shin.

Even if he could, he probably wouldn't have.

The reason was simple: Doflamingo was trying to escape. Fujitora wasn't trying to protect Doflamingo.

Or rather, as long as Doflamingo was his prisoner, he would protect him.

But now, Doflamingo was trying to become a fugitive.

Seeing the descending blade, Doflamingo gritted his teeth and threw his arms up to block, his forearms transforming into a mass of tough strings.

His arms turning to string was similar to elementalization, but there was a difference. The strings were a part of his body. If they were all cut, it would be the same as his arms being severed.

There was no contest. Shin’s blade sliced down, and Doflamingo’s arm was severed in an instant.

"Arghh!!"

Doflamingo couldn't help but let out a blood-curdling scream, his already dark face turning pale.

"WAIT." Doflamingo cried out as he saw Shin raise his sword again.

“What is it? Are you scared?” Shin asked.

"I thought I brought you a huge amount of wealth over the years. Why do you want to kill me?" Doflamingo's eyes were filled with resentment and unwillingness.

"I told you I wanted half your profits, Doflamingo. But don't think you can fool me. What you gave me probably wasn't even thirty percent of what you earned. I just couldn't be bothered to deal with you before."

Shin sneered. Did Doflamingo really think his little tricks could deceive him? Shin had known all along—he had just been too lazy to deal with him.

<><><><><><><><>

Ignoring Doflamingo’s look of despair, Shin swung his sword down, aiming for his head.

CLANG!

At the last second, Fujitora’s cane sword intercepted Shin’s Ama no Murakumo Sword, blocking the fatal blow. Shin’s brow instantly furrowed.

Though he didn’t know why Fujitora had intervened again, Shin felt that perhaps he had been too lenient with him before.

“Was I too lenient with you last time, Fujitora?”

Shin’s voice was arctic. With another press of his blade, he shattered Fujitora’s cane sword. The follow-through of the attack left a deep, bone-jarring gash on Doflamingo’s body.

Because Fujitora had blocked for a moment, Doflamingo had escaped with his life. Otherwise, Shin’s strike would have taken his head.

The Ama no Murakumo Sword vanished. A white halo, the signature of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, enveloped Shin’s fist as he threw a punch at Fujitora.

Crack!

The air itself seemed to shatter like a broken mirror, and cracks appeared all over Fujitora’s body.

The bones within him had been shattered. Fujitora couldn’t even support himself.

With a single punch, Shin had crippled him. Though he wasn't dead, Fujitora's combat ability was gone.

His body was wracked with comminuted fractures. Unless he could get a new body, he would never recover.

“Be grateful I didn't kill you. This is my mercy,” Shin said, looking at the paralyzed Admiral.

He hadn't killed him, but it wasn't out of mercy. For Fujitora now, death would have been a better fate. Though he was alive, living would be a greater torment.

“The people I decide to kill don't get to escape, Doflamingo. Are you sure you want to keep running?”

"And let me warn you, if you run, your end will be a hundred times more miserable. I, Shin Uzumaki, always keep my word."

Crippling Fujitora with a single punch had raised Shin's deterrent effect to its peak. Doflamingo hesitated, his escape coming to a halt.

Without a doubt, choosing to flee meant certain death. Shin Uzumaki’s strength was even greater than he had imagined.

To cripple an Admiral with a single punch... what did that even mean? Doflamingo couldn't even begin to comprehend it. This strength was too great, ridiculously so...

————————————

“I think you don’t need to kill me. I’m worth more to you alive,” Doflamingo said with a fawning smile.

Now, to survive, Doflamingo felt that even a bit of humiliation was nothing. Only by living could he have a future. If he died, he would have nothing.

"That's right. I can't deny that a living you could indeed create value for me. But right now, I want you dead.”

Shin’s calm words left Doflamingo with no way out.

He was telling him clearly—'I'm going to kill you. If you don't want to die, then fight back.'

“Is there really no room for negotiation?” Doflamingo looked up and asked Shin.

“Of course not. The only variable is how I'm going to kill you.”

Shin once again used his Glint-Glint Fruit to create the Ama no Murakumo Sword.

"Do you regret it, Fujitora? If you hadn't stopped me, I might have let you go. Actually, I think I've been very merciful, allowing a little ant to jump around in front of me. Unfortunately, my mercy also has a time limit."

Shin turned his back to Fujitora, walking towards Doflamingo as he spoke calmly.

Now Shin really wanted to know if Fujitora had any regrets. At this moment, Fujitora had lost everything.

His body was completely crippled, and his ideals and ambitions would never be realized.

Fujitora didn’t answer Shin. It wasn't that he didn't want to speak, but that he couldn't. All the bones in his body, including those in his face, were shattered.

It was a miracle he was still alive.

Clearly, Shin had deliberately left him alive.

“Shin Uzumaki, you'll fall to the Celestial Dragons! You have no idea how deep their power truly runs.”

Doflamingo spoke up at this moment, his eyes filled with resentment as he looked at Shin.

Right now, Doflamingo was just venting. With no hope of escape, he was in complete despair. His current fate was even more miserable than in the original story.

In the original story, he had at least survived, just locked up in the great underwater prison.

Countless sharp strings that could cut through steel gathered together, forming an enormous blade. With a wave of Doflamingo’s hand, it slashed down towards Shin.

“A desperate struggle.”

Shin swung his sword. Before Doflamingo’s attack could even reach him, he had already cut off his head.

It was that simple and clean. With a single slash, he had decapitated Doflamingo.

"I just came here to watch the show, and I ended up killing Doflamingo myself."

Shin couldn't help but say. He had come purely for the entertainment, but a few words from Doflamingo had dragged him in and led to his death.

He wondered if Doflamingo would cry if he knew. No, that was a stupid thought. Doflamingo was already dead—how could he cry?

————————————

Just then, the sound of footsteps approached. Shin looked up and saw Luffy and his crew running towards them.

Without a navigator like Nami, how did they even make it to the New World? Must be that main character plot armor at work.

It couldn't have been easy.

"It's you?" Luffy still remembered Shin and was very surprised to see him.

But Usopp’s reaction wasn't so good. He was trembling all over. They had just escaped one crisis, and now they were facing another powerhouse.

One of the Four Emperors—no, he wasn't one of the Four Emperors anymore, because Kaido was already dead.

“You seem surprised,” Shin said to Luffy with a faint smile.

“Yeah, it’s pretty surprising.” Luffy smiled broadly. He wasn't afraid of Shin at all. After all, they hadn't crossed each other, and they weren't enemies. Why should he be afraid?

Zoro looked at Shin with a fighting spirit. He wanted to challenge him, but after thinking about it, he decided against it.

Even Mihawk was no match for him.

"Hey, look! That Flamingo is dead!" Luffy pointed at Doflamingo’s corpse and shouted.

They had defeated Doflamingo’s subordinates and were on their way to take down the man himself.

But now, they didn't need to do anything. Doflamingo’s head was separated from his body. He was clearly dead.

Seeing Doflamingo dead, Usopp breathed a sigh of relief.
