Naruto: Copy System#759+760: Mission Accomplished, Taking Yoruichi to Hueco Mundo

The grayish-white Adjuchas, its hide the color of Hueco Mundo’s sands, looked at Shin as if he were already its next meal.

The Adjuchas was clearly confident—and Shin was more than happy to match it.

"Let's get this over with. I want to head back soon," Shin said calmly to the Adjuchas before him.

"I've never seen a Soul Reaper as arrogant as you. NOW, YOU WILL KNOW DESPAIR!" The Adjuchas roared, its voice laced with fury at Shin’s casual, almost dismissive expression.

A storm of Spiritual Pressure erupted from the Adjuchas, crashing down on Shin, seeking to crush him where he stood.

"You think this is enough Spiritual Pressure to make me despair? I think you're the one who's about to learn what despair really feels like."

An immense Spiritual Pressure erupted from Shin, overwhelming his opponent in an instant. The nearby Gillians were snuffed out where they stood.

The very ground beneath them collapsed. Within a one-kilometer radius, the earth sank more than ten meters, and every structure was utterly obliterated.

The Adjuchas survived, but it could only tremble uncontrollably before the sheer weight of Shin’s Spiritual Pressure.

"Feeling that despair now?" Shin asked the Adjuchas calmly.

In the world of Soul Reapers, combat was a battle of Spiritual Pressure. With enough of it, one didn't even need Kido—a simple torrent of energy could wipe out most enemies.

Aizen was a prime example. Even with most of his power sealed, his Spiritual Pressure alone was enough to contend with the Soul King's power. He had even boasted he could bring down the Soul King's Palace itself, which made Shin wonder why he had bothered with creating the Ōken in the first place.

The Ōken was meant to grant him access to the Soul King's Palace, but if he could just blast his way in, what was the point?

Perhaps Aizen, before the Battle of Karakura Town, hadn't yet reached that level of power. After that battle, his strength had evolved multiple times thanks to the Hogyoku. Even without the Hogyoku, he must have retained a portion of that power.

Shin felt he was getting a bit sidetracked. Right now, he was facing an Adjuchas, and with his Spiritual Pressure alone, he had brought the creature to its knees.

"If you beg for mercy now, I might just let you live," Shin said calmly to the Adjuchas.

"DON'T MOCK ME." the Adjuchas said, forcing its head up to glare at the ridiculously powerful Soul Reaper.

A Soul Reaper would never let a Hollow go. They were natural enemies, destined to fight, never to coexist.

"You see things clearly, don't you?"

Shin looked at the Adjuchas, which lay on the ground without begging. It seemed to understand its situation perfectly.

"In that case, I'll grant you your death," Shin said calmly.

He swung his sword, and in a single, clean strike, he finished the Adjuchas, ending its life with ease.

"Time to head back." Shin glanced at the surrounding ruins, paid them no more mind, and turned to leave.

He opened a Senkaimon and returned to the Soul Society.

"You're back already?" Retsu Unohana was slightly surprised to see Shin. Barely half an hour had passed.

"Did you run away?" Yoruichi Shihōin teased.

"You're the one who ran away." Shin promptly tapped her on the head, making Yoruichi crouch on the ground, clutching her head.

"Ow! Shin, you don't hold back at all! That's too much! Don't you know I'm a girl?"

"Sorry, I didn't see anything girl-like about you. And what did you just call me? Did you just use my name?"

Shin cracked his knuckles, looking as if he was about to hit her again, which made Yoruichi instinctively take a few steps back.

"Relax, I'm not going to hit you," Shin reassured the frightened Yoruichi.

Yoruichi's face flushed slightly, and she quickly shook her head. "I'm not afraid of you!"

"Heh, no need to act so tough."

Shin said with a light chuckle. The current Yoruichi was quite different from the one he remembered.

"It was just a single Adjuchas. How long did you think it would take?" Shin said plainly.

"An Adjuchas? You took down an Adjuchas?" Yoruichi looked at Shin in shock.

"Yes. Is there a problem?"

"You really took down an Adjuchas?"

Yoruichi's gaze was filled with doubt. She wasn't completely ignorant—she knew how strong an Adjuchas was.

Even an average Captain might not be a match for one. Yet Shin had dealt with it in less than half an hour. To be honest, Yoruichi found it a little hard to believe.

"You have a lot to learn. And you seem to look down on me, don't you?" Shin placed his hand on Yoruichi's head and said.

"No, not at all! By the way, I have to go to the Shin'ō Academy. See you later!" Yoruichi, likely sensing that Shin was about to lecture her, quickly took a few steps back and left.

"The current Yoruichi is quite fun. I wonder what she'll be like in the future," Shin said with a faint smile, watching her retreating figure.

"By the way, Shin, aren't you going to file a mission report?" Retsu Unohana asked Shin.

After completing a mission, a report had to be written and submitted to the 1st Division. They were the ones who handled these matters and commanded the entire Gotei 13.

"Ah, what a hassle. How about you help me with it, Captain Unohana?" Shin said with a smile, hoping she would agree.

"I knew you'd be lazy." Unohana had already seen through Shin.

"Please, Captain Unohana." Shin placed the pen and paper in front of her.

"First, tell me what happened," Unohana said to Shin.

"There's not much to tell. I found an Adjuchas, killed it, and that's it," Shin said with a shrug.

After he finished speaking, he saw Unohana staring at him.

"At least give me some details. Don't be so concise. Otherwise, you can write it yourself. I won't help you."

"Don't say that! Alright, I'll talk."

Hearing that Unohana wouldn't help him, Shin couldn't sit still.

He immediately told her about the Adjuchas's motives. Unohana recorded everything, and after Shin reviewed it, he found a member of the 2nd Division to deliver it to Captain-Commander Yamamoto.

<><><><><><><><>

A year passed in the blink of an eye. For most of it, Shin had been taking it easy, enjoying a rare period of calm with no missions to handle.

However, it was worth noting that Shin hadn't been visiting the 4th Division. Instead, Retsu Unohana had been coming to the 2nd Division.

"Hey, aren't you going to make me your Vice-Captain?"

Yoruichi Shihōin asked Shin. She had already graduated from the Shin'ō Academy, finishing the entire curriculum in just one year.

Because of this, Yoruichi had been bragging to Shin quite a bit. After all, he had spent three years at the academy. Of course, there was a reason for that—it wasn't that he needed three years to graduate.

"And what am I supposed to do with the current Vice-Captain? Besides, with your current strength, being the 3rd Seat is hardly a demotion."

Shin looked at Yoruichi. After his guidance, she had indeed become strong, but becoming a Vice-Captain wasn't just about strength.

It also required merit. Without any accomplishments, one had to slowly work their way up.

"Captain, I'm willing to give my position to Yoruichi," the Vice-Captain of the 2nd Division spoke up. He was from the Fēng family, a lower noble house that was essentially a vassal to the Shihōin Clan.

Suì-Fēng was from the Fēng family, her real name being Fēng Shāolíng.

"She still needs to be tempered. She's not qualified to be a Vice-Captain yet," Shin said, looking at Yoruichi.

"Why am I not qualified?"

Hearing Shin say she wasn't qualified, Yoruichi felt a surge of indignation.

In a recent spar, she had defeated the current Vice-Captain with her own strength.

"Do you really think Vice-Captain Fēng was using his full strength against you? Don't get arrogant just after graduating. A bit of youthful recklessness is one thing, but this is another," Shin said, placing his hand on Yoruichi's head.

Her strength wasn't enough yet. Shin didn't want to see Yoruichi getting ahead of herself, thinking she could climb the ranks with unrefined skills.

"Don't you know that the higher your rank, the greater your responsibility?"

Though Yoruichi was dissatisfied with Shin's words, she didn't say anything.

Without the strength to defeat Shin, how could she claim to be strong? Once she defeated him with her own hands, she would show him what a true powerhouse was.

"You should get ready. I'm taking you to Hueco Mundo."

Shin said to Yoruichi.

"What are we going to Hueco Mundo for?" Yoruichi asked, puzzled.

She already knew Hueco Mundo was a barren wasteland. What was there to do there?

"To find you some opponents, of course. So you don't freeze up the next time you encounter a Hollow and forget how to fight."

Though Yoruichi had fought Hollows before, they were all ordinary ones. The strongest she had faced was a giant Hollow—she had never even encountered a Gillian.

"Alright." Yoruichi agreed without much hesitation. It didn't seem like a bad thing for her.

Fighting those Hollows sounded fun, and Yoruichi herself loved to fight.

"I'm taking Yoruichi with me. Captain Unohana, I'll have to trouble you to look after the 2nd Division," Shin said to Retsu Unohana.

Unohana nodded. Helping Shin look after the 2nd Division was no problem.

Besides, for the past year, she had barely returned to the 4th Division, leaving its affairs to her Vice-Captain.

Shin then took Yoruichi to Hueco Mundo.

"Without orders, even a Captain isn't supposed to come to Hueco Mundo, right? Is this really okay?" Yoruichi couldn't help but ask Shin.

"Why wouldn't it be? As long as no one finds out, it's fine," Shin said calmly.

As long as no one knew, it wouldn't be a problem. As for the risk of being exposed, there was no need to worry. He trusted Unohana to cover for him.

"There are plenty of Menos in Hueco Mundo. Unless your life is on the line, I won't step in, so you'd better be careful."

Shin warned Yoruichi.

In other words, even if Yoruichi got injured, Shin might not help her. Only if she faced a real crisis would he intervene.

"I know." Yoruichi had no objections, her face filled with determination.

Compared to a year ago, Yoruichi had changed a lot. The head of the Shihōin Clan, Kiyotaka Shihōin, had died.

With her grandfather's death, Yoruichi had to take on more responsibility for the entire family.

Shin could see that compared to her previous lively self, Yoruichi had toned it down a lot, becoming more mature.

"Go on, do your best," Shin said, patting Yoruichi's shoulder.

Yoruichi didn't have her Zanpakutō with her. Since she had no interest in swordsmanship, she rarely carried one.

And Shin had never seen her train with her Zanpakutō's Shikai. In the original story, she had never released her Shikai either.

"Where do I find a Hollow?"

Yoruichi looked around, then asked Shin. There wasn't a single Hollow in sight. It seemed like there were no Menos in Hueco Mundo at all.

"Sense carefully. A place you think is safe might not be," Shin reminded Yoruichi.

He didn't directly tell her how to find a Hollow. The real search was up to her.

Yoruichi closed her eyes and began to carefully scan the surroundings for any fluctuations. Nothing could escape her senses.

"Hiding under the sand… what a cunning bastard."

Yoruichi slammed her fist on the sandy ground, causing the entire area to shake.

Don't be fooled by her slender appearance—Yoruichi's strength was terrifying. After all, her specialty was Hakuda.

"GET OUT HERE!" Yoruichi finally dug out the Gillian hiding under the sand.

She then used Shunpo, instantly appearing behind the Gillian, her fist wrapped in Spiritual Pressure, and smashed it into the Gillian.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The impact sent the Gillian flying.

"Not bad, right?" Yoruichi asked, looking at Shin with a hint of pride.

"You should be more focused on your opponent right now," Shin said, his brow furrowed. "Do you really think you're that much stronger than it? A moment of carelessness is all it takes to lose."

The Gillian before them was indeed weaker than Yoruichi, but not by much.
