Während der Corona Zeit musste ich ja nirgendwo hin reisen, was irgendwie ein Segen für meine Comicarbeit war. Vor Corona waren März/April/Mai immer der HORROR für mich, weil ich in den Monaten immer durch die Gegend reisen musste für Workshops und Lesungen. Jetzt ist die Pandemie offiziell "vorbei" (irgendwie ja auch nicht... ihr wisst, was ich meine) und die Reiserei ist wieder voll los gegangen. Dabei hab ich folgendes bemerkt: ........ ich will das nicht mehr machen. X,,,D Nicht mehr in dem Ausmaß. Mir ist black & blue einfach wichtiger. Und diese ständigen Ortswechsel killen meine Kreativität, während sie mich einfach nur STRESSEN! Ab nächstem Jahr will ich einige Sachen auf Eis legen, die viel mit reisen zu tun haben >_>
Ich werd Anfang Mai einen Upload hiatus einlegen, auf Patreon aber natürlich weiter posten, damit ihr weiterhin 'nen signifikaten Vorsprung bei den Seiten habt. VuV" Und natürlich lass ich mir auf der NSFW front irgendwas einfallen, um den Mangel diesen Monat auszugleichen.

English: OMG, finally a fresh comic update! X,D I'm so eternally sorry for messing up my Patreon schedule completely atm... I still even haven't finished last months NSFW extra... OTL
During the pandemic there was no possibility to travel and somehow that was a blessing for my comic-work. Before the pandemic March/April and May were horredously stressful months, because I needed to travel a lot to attend to readings and workshops in Austria and Swizerland. Now the Pandemic officially "ended" (actually it didn't, but you know what I mean X,D) and I realized: .... I don't want to do that anymore. I HATE traveling so much! It kills all my creative energy it's disrupting and exhausting. Starting next year I want to stop some of this gigs that involve lots of traveling. >_>
In the first hald of May I'll go on an upload hiatus on Webtoon and tapas, while still posting on Patreon to preserve your benefit as Patrons. VuV" Also I'm thinking about something special NSFW-wise to make up for the lack of it in April!

I’m always soooo amazed by your analysis, dear Dandy! TuT it’s always on point. Derek deep down thinks, he’s not deserving of love. Because… he hasn’t got enough of it during his childhood/youth. The CARE for him was missing. His mother loves him to death, but it’s not a caring kind of love. More suffocating and straining, if you know what I mean. His father gave him love and cared for him, but he was gone way too early. 😢 additionally he really has a hard time reading people. 😅

2022-04-28 14:40:15 +0000 UTCThough I was thrown for a loop as well, thinking Gorou was not aware of his Shadow self, I do believe that Derek is also displaying the lacking parts in his empathic abillities. Yes, he can flirt and instinctively know what buttons to push, but when it comes to deeper, or more honest emotions and motivations he's quite inept. Even Andy, who he knows longer, and probably deep scanned -as he knows Andy's powers to a T-, he can't read at all. And the reason why he can't sense and understand other people's motivations and emotions quicker, is not because of his happy go lucky exterior.... I think that his shocked realisation is telling. I hear a certain, very cheesy, very famous, yet very true line popping up in my mind: "If you can't love yourself, how the hell you're gonna love somebody else?"
