Yeah, so, I'm not sure if anyone has cleared this up but Connie and a bunch of other people weren't present for the meeting that Eren had when discussing the true identities of who Reiner and Bertholdt are. I'm not 100% certain on this but I read somewhere that the whole reason why the group at the beginning of this season were separated from our mains was because they were the people that were under suspicion from Erwin. They didn't want them present at the time of the meeting so the group with Ymir, Connie, Riener, Bertholdt, etc. and a bunch of other supervising Scout leaders were sent away on a "mission"
