Little in-between-funsie :D

Deutsch: Oh Gott, Leute... mein schlechtes Gewissen bringt mich schon wieder um. Wie ihr vielleicht bemerkt habt, bin ich schon wieder recht spät dran mit meinem b&b Update. Hhhhhhhhhhh ... x___x Und ich will transparent mit euch sein. Damit ihr wisst, warum es manchmal länger dauert und was bei mir los ist. Vielleicht interessieren euch diese behind-the-scene-Berichte von Mangazeichnern ja auch? xD Das findet ihr jedenfalls auch nur hier!

Die Zeit-Verzögerer diese Woche:

- Unerwartet viele Shop-orders (inklusive Kommunikation mit Kunden + Versand organisieren). Ist aber auch TOLL!!!! Danke, an alle, die bestellt haben! *_*

- Der Ausbau der neuen Webcomic-Seite (www.webcomic.melanieschober.at <--- für alle, die's noch nicht mitbekommen haben :D), auf der man jetzt bequem alle Inhalte lesen kann. Es ist noch LÄNGST nicht alles hochgeladen, aber zwei der NSFW-stories sind schon vorhanden und der Rest von ALLEM hier auf Patreon und anderswo folgt noch :3
Dafür müssen Banner genaut und Thumbnails bestimmt werden. Alles in allem dauert sowas viel länger, als man denkt. >_</) Aber am Ende werdet ihr ein schönes Patreon-Content browsing Erlebnis haben <3

- Der Zoe-Comic für ZEIT-online (siehe oben XD)
Neuerdings zeichne ich ja zusammen mit Inga Steinmetz, Natalia Schiller und Christina Plaka regelmäßig für ZEIT-online, was ein MEGA GEILER Job ist! Ich liebe ihn! *_*
Alle 4 Wochen bin ich dran mit zeichnen. Aber irgendwie krieg ich IMMER die Themen, in denen Menschenmassen eine wichtige Rolle... 😅 Allein der Comic oben hat mich diese Woche 1-2 Arbeitstage gekostet. Ich weiß nicht, ob man das dem Ding ansieht, aber es war irre aufwändig.
Ausnahmsweise will ich euch mal einen dieser Comics hier vorab zeigen. :3 Damit ihr wisst, wovon ich rede. Und vielleicht mögt ihr ja ZEIT-online folgen und euch die Zoe-Comics regelmäßig reinziehen :D (leider bisher nur auf Deutsch!) Sie erscheinen einmal pro Woche und behandeln meistens kontroverse Themen. Der hier ist ein bisschen leichtherziger. :3 Ich hoffe, er gefällt euch.
Jedenfalls: Einmal im Monat zeichne ich von nun an nen Zoe-Comic - für mindestens ein Jahr land. Ich freu mich total, aber es kostet auch Kraft.

Was mich zum letzten Punkt bringt:
- Ich bin vollkommen, durch und durch überarbeitet!
Es ist euch vielleicht am Ton meiner letzten Postings schon aufgefallen.... BEVOR es mir selbst so richtig klar geworden ist: Ich bin überarbeitet. Und ich werd um eine Pause nicht drum herum kommen. Irgendwann im September werde ich also eine Woche PAUSE machen. 😅 Ich werde jetzt noch den ersten Teil des "Family Bonds" Kapitels fertig zeichnen (noch 2-3 Updates) und dann muss ich mal ne Woche oder zwei pausieren. Meine Hand ist fürchterlich steif geworden und wenn ich sie nicht zwischendurch mal ausruhe, krieg ich garantiert mal schwerwiegende Probleme.
Und nächste Woche bin ich wieder in Wien für Workshops ... Auch da wird's wohl wieder länger dauern mit den Seiten.
Ich wollte jedenfalls, dass ihr jetzt schon über alles Bescheid wisst. Wenn ihr euch mehr Output wünscht, bin ich nicht böse, wenn ihr euren Support pausiert/cancelt. Ich will nicht, dass ihr euch ausgenommen/betrogen fühlt. 😖 Das wäre das schlimmste Gefühl ever!

Nach der Pause im September, mit erholter Hand,  kann ich hoffentlich wieder öfter und konsistenter posten. Und das hättet ihr MEHR als verdient!
Wir haben nämlich die 500 Patron Marke überschritten! AAAAAAAAAH!!! Ich wollte so gern SOFORT ein special-dankes-Bild zeichnen... ^^""" .... aber .... ich bin ja so schon überall zu spät dran. 😢
Das soll aber noch nachgeholt werden und ihr könnt euch was wünschen :D Hat jemand ne Idee für ein cooles Thank you Motiv? XD

Und damit verabschiede ich mich jetzt erst mal und arbeite an b&b weiter. Ich hoffe, ich kann am Freitag oder Samstag fünf neue Seiten hochladen (die seiten sind btw AUCH wieder extra aufwändig! 😵‍💫 Diese Woche kommt einfach alles zusammen!)

So you know why it sometimes takes longer and what's going on with me. Time delays this week:

- Unexpectedly lots of store orders (including communication with customers + organizing shipping). But it's also GREAT!!!! Thanks to all who ordered! *_*

- The expansion of the new webcomic site (www.webcomic.melanieschober.at <--- for those who haven't noticed yet :D), where you can now comfortably read all the content. Not everything is uploaded yet, but two of the NSFW-stories are already there and the rest of EVERYTHING here on Patreon and elsewhere will follow :3
For that, banners have to be made and thumbnails have to be chosen. All in all, something like this takes much longer than you think. >_<

- The Zoe comic for ZEIT-online (see above XD)
Recently I've been drawing regularly for ZEIT-online together with Inga Steinmetz, Natalia Schiller and Christina Plaka, which is a MEGA AWESOME job! I love it! *_*
Every 4 weeks it's my turn to draw. But somehow I ALWAYS get the subjects where crowds play an important role.... 😅 The comic above alone took me 1-2 days of work this week. I don't know if you can tell by looking at it, but it was crazy elaborate.
For once, I want to show you one of these comics here in advance. :3 So you know what I'm talking about. And maybe you like to follow ZEIT-online on instagram and read the Zoe comics regularly :D (unfortunately only in German so far!) They are published once a week and mostly deal with controversial topics. This one is a bit more lighthearted. :3 I hope you like it.
Anyway: From now on I'll draw a Zoe comic once a month - for at least a year. I'm really looking forward to it, but it takes a lot of energy.

Which brings me to the last point:
- I'm completely, utterly overworked!
You may have noticed the tone of my last postings.... BEFORE I really realized it myself: I'm overworked. And I'm not going to get around taking a break. So sometime in September, I'll be taking a week off. 😅 I'm going to finish drawing the first part of the "Family Bonds" chapter now (2-3 more updates) and then I'll have to take a break for a week or two. My hand has become terribly stiff and if I don't rest it in between times, I'm guaranteed to develop some serious problems.
And next week I'll be back in Vienna for workshops ... There, too, it will probably take longer with the pages.
Anyway, I wanted you to know about everything already. If you want more output, I'm not angry if you pause/cancel your support. I don't want you guys to feel left out/cheated. 😖 That would be the worst feeling ever!

Hopefully after the break in September, with a recovered hand, I can post more often and more consistently. And y'all are more than deserving of that!
