Sooo, fashionably late but finally here: the new (short but sweet :3) comic update!

Some of you might’ve seen it already on Webtoon or Tapas — I announced a one-week upload hiatus there because I was suddenly just… completely worn out :,) I had to hit the brakes. Aside from black & blue, I’ve got a bunch of other tasks and projects that piled up over the past weeks, and the guilt kept getting worse. 😩 So I decided: one week without comic uploads. Rest a little, catch up on things… and honestly, it’s doing me good! 🖤💙

This update is also shorter than usual because the pages are STILL insanely time-consuming. Rain, lighting, night scenes… they’re driving me a little crazy. xDDD But I just love the way everything looks right now. Not only the night vibes — but also what’s happening stylistically. Maybe it’s just an illusion, but I feel like I’ve got control again. I’m making progress, and it comes at the perfect time, since the plot is finally moving forward in such satisfying ways.

In this scene, Derek is stuck in a dilemma. Gogo very clearly used the word “LIES.” Which indirectly means: even if Davido did talk about the abuse, Gogo doesn’t want to talk about it. Otherwise, he would’ve phrased it differently.

Now Derek could push Gogo to open up. And that would be good for him, because then he wouldn’t have to keep pretending he doesn’t already know everything. :,D But… is that really the right move? Is the middle of the night — just casually in passing — really the moment to have that kind of talk?

In any case: for now, what matters most is that Gogo gets some much-needed love and comfort from Derek. 🖤

I’ll get the next pages done as soon as possible! I don’t want to let this week go to waste and then fall right back into stress mode again next week.

So, spät aber doch kommt nun ENDLICH das kurze (aber süße :3) Comic-Update!

Manche haben’s vielleicht auf Webtoon oder Tapas mitbekommen: Ich hab nen einwöchigen Upload-Hiatus auf den Comic-Plattformen eingelegt, weil ich plötzlich einfach… richtig kaputt war :,) Da musste ich die Notbremse ziehen. Ich hab neben black & blue ja auch noch einige andere Sachen zu tun, und viel ist nun ’ne ganze Weile liegen geblieben – das schlechte Gewissen wurde immer schlimmer. 😩 Da dachte ich mir: Eine Woche mal keinen Comic-Upload. Ein bisschen ausruhen, Tasks aufholen… das wird mir gut tun. Und das tut es auch! 🖤💙

Das Update ist diesmal unter anderem auch kürzer geworden, weil die Seiten… IMMER NOCH so irre aufwändig sind. Regen und Licht und Nacht machen mich ein bisschen fertig, ey. xDDD Aber ich mag die Optik grad SO GERN. Also, nicht nur die Nachtoptik, sondern auch was stilistisch so passiert. Vielleicht ist es nur eine Illusion, aber ich hab das Gefühl, wieder richtig Kontrolle zu haben und Fortschritte zu machen – und es kommt einfach zum perfekten Zeitpunkt, weil der Plot sich gerade so schön weiterentwickelt.

Derek ist hier in einem Dilemma. Gogo hat eindeutig das Wort „LÜGEN“ benutzt. Was ja indirekt bedeutet: Selbst wenn Davido was vom Missbrauch erzählt hat, möchte ich nicht darüber sprechen. Sonst hätte er es anders formuliert.

Derek könnte Gogo nun in die Richtung drängen/führen, dass er sich DOCH öffnet und über das spricht, was ihm passiert ist. Das wäre auch für Derek gut. Dann wäre es raus, und er müsste nicht länger verbergen, dass er schon über alles Bescheid weiß. :,D Aber… ob das gut ist? Sowas mitten in der Nacht, zwischen Tür und Angel zu besprechen?

Jedenfalls bekommt Gogo jetzt erst mal ein bisschen LIEBE und Zuwendung von Derek. Und das ist ja das Wichtigste!

Die nächsten Seiten kommen so schnell wie möglich! Ich will die Woche ja auch nicht komplett verschwenden und nur rumhängen und dann wieder im Stress sein – Woche für Woche.
